What is the relationship between Cellframe and KelVPN?

Although Cellframe and KelVPN are products from the same parent company, “Demlabs,” KelVPN is a separate project with a dedicated developer team. KelVPN is the first service built on Cellframe, which is a blockchain platform for different decentralized services. KelVPN is based on the Cellframe parachain and uses Cellframe SDK.

Is it possible to use the key on multiple devices?

At the moment, one license key allows the user to use the VPN service on one device. However, if you need to switch to another device, you just need to reset the license key on the ‘Settings’ page. After you reset the license key, the expiration time for your subscription freezes for until you switch to another device. This allows you to use the same serial key on another device without wasting any of your subscription time.
In the future it will be possible to use the same key on three devices without resetting, with the continued feature of freezing the remainder of the expiration timer.

Can I host a dVPN node here?

Yes. You can provide KelVPN service and earn on it. Find out more here.

Is the output in KelVPN IP addresses residential or stored on the server?

It depends on individual KelVPN providers. If a provider wants to provide service to more than one customer, then the address is not residential.

Do you plan KelVPN integration with browsers?

Yes, in long-term plans.

I have some problems with my app. What should I do?

You can send a bug report inside the app with description of the issue and your contacts: Settings -> Send bug report. Or you can send it through a feedback form on our website.

Will KelVPN be available on PlayStore or F-droid?

Yes, the team intends to publish KelVPN on Google Play as the first priority.

What are the requirements for the VPN node?

We recommend 4 GB of RAM and a CPU with 2 cores 1GHz each or 1 core 2.3 GHz. Stable internet connection is absolutely necessary with internet speed of 100 Mbps preferably. And, at this stage, there is a requirement to also be a master node, the team plans to remove this later.

Will there be a docker setup of VPN node?

Yes, we plan to develop a fast docker setup feature in the future.

What is the difference between new and old smart contracts?

The new smart contract has improved security and can be used for LP staking. The old token can be irreversibly migrated to the new one using the KelVPN migration site. Liquidity will soon be transferred to a new smart contract, but the old token can always be migrated to the new one. The migration period is not limited.

I’m interested in the $KEL token. Where can I find out more about it?

Information about $KEL token is available on the KelVPN website on the “Token” page. To discuss its use cases, join the KelVPN community on Telegram.

Can I stake the KEL token?

Yes, single staking is available only for KEL tokens on the native CF-20 Cellframe network. To get native tokens, bridge from BEP-20 or ERC-20 networks using the Cellframe bridge site. LP staking is provided only for new BEP-20 and ERC-20 smart contracts. Old tokens can be migrated to the new ones using the KelVPN migration site. Link to staking website: https://stake.kelvpn.com/ Video guide on single KEL staking is available on the KelVPN youtube channel.

Tokenomics of $KEL

Circulating Supply - around 70 M
Total supply - 100 M
Max supply - 100 M

What is the utility of the $KEL token?

First, KEL can be used to purchase VPN services and can be earned by providing VPN service.
KEL tokens are needed to fully integrate KelVPN into the Cellframe ecosystem. The native KEL tokens will be given as rewards for node runners to incentivize increased decentralization and network stability.

KEL can be used for PoS based emissions in single (native CF-2) network and for LP staking (Ethereum and BSC networks). Staking on the native network is required for running nodes, providing VPN services, and earning from these activities. One can also choose to delegate a stake to other service-providing nodes.

The KEL token can be used for trading on the Cellframe DEX (CF-20, CF-721 protocols) and for governance.

Of the total supply, 91% of the tokens are held by a single BSC wallet. Why is that?

This wallet holds this many tokens because it belongs to the bridge that splits the supply between the both networks ERC-20 and BEP-20. This is normal behavior for a bridge address.

When can we expect listing on more exchanges?

We plan new listings in the future, but we can’t comment on it due to the NDA (non-disclosure agreement) issues.

How many members does the team working on the project comprise of?

The project has 5 team members as of now.
